MEMBERSHIP & VOLUNTEERING

We're looking for more people to join us, either as a club member or as someone who volunteers occasionally to help with our projects and events.

What does membership offer?

Being a member of Nelson Rotary will see you working alongside other enthusiastic volunteers on projects and events of high impact and with measurable benefits for the community.

Our members have a wide range of professional and acquired skills, including project planning and management, financial expertise, construction, engineering  and others to plan, develop and run successful community projects and events. You are also encouraged to suggest and lead projects that interest you in areas of importance and high impact in the community.

Volunteer with Nelson Rotary

For those who simply cannot join for whatever reason but would like to be involved, there is the opportunity to volunteer. You will be invited to help where we need large numbers of volunteers for an event or project, or to join us for a project you are particularly interested in.

As examples, volunteers with Nelson Rotary can be found at our annual Boulder Bank Walk, serving food at the Blessing of the Fleet, tree planting at local conservation sites and at the Founders Book Fair.
