Every March, we make one of Nelson's great natural icons more accessible: the Boulder Bank. Walkers are bussed to the start of the 9km trail, explore the historic baches along the way, and can climb the heritage lighthouse before being collected by boat from the Cut — or choose to travel by boat both ways.
 

It's a fun, family-friendly day out that also gives back: many walkers help clear plastics and rubbish along the coastline as they go, and proceeds from the day support local organisations and The Rotary Foundation.
 

Tickets are open to the public each year, with adult and children's pricing, and the walk relies on the generous support of local sponsors. Strong ankles required — it's 9km in an exposed natural environment!
